2. Agreement
By creating an account, starting a trial, or using Timelint, you agree to these terms. If you are using Timelint on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. The service
Timelint provides ticket-first project management, service desk workflows, time tracking, planning, and a client portal. We may change the service over time, including adding, removing, or modifying features. We will aim to keep changes coherent and communicated.
4. Accounts and responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must ensure your users and client contacts use the service lawfully and in line with these terms.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
5. Acceptable use
Use Timelint in a way that respects others and keeps the system healthy. You must not:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt the service
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without permission (email security@codebased.co.uk)
- access data that is not yours or attempt to bypass access controls
- use the service to send spam or abusive content
6. Pricing, billing, and seat minimum
Pricing is shown on our pricing page. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. Our current standard plan is billed per seat and has a 3-seat minimum.
If you do not pay when due, we may suspend access after giving reasonable notice.
7. Client portal users and fair use
Client portal users are included on a fair use basis. “Fair use” means typical agency client access. If your usage looks like a public community portal or very large-scale distribution, we may ask you to move to a different arrangement.
8. Customer content
“Customer content” means the data you and your users put into Timelint (tickets, messages, files, contacts, and related content). You retain ownership of your customer content.
You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display customer content solely to provide the service.
9. Data protection
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data under the UK GDPR. See Privacy policy. Our data processing addendum is available here: Data processing addendum.
10. Intellectual property
We own Timelint and all related intellectual property, except for your customer content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Timelint except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Timelint at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if your use risks harm to the service or others, or if required by law.
12. Disclaimers
Timelint is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for a reliable service, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example: loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of goodwill). Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amounts you paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify account owners. The “Last updated” date above shows when the terms last changed.
